Hillywood started out making little videos for fun. They made videos about things fans love, and they did it for laughs, and out of their own love for the shows. And then something wonderful happened: something from nothing, their own fans began to appear. Now they fuel a remarkable enterprise that makes some of the best entertainment on the ‘net.

Now we get amazing videos like their Suicide Squad Parody, based on the Lady Gaga song Judas. It’s Harley Quinn in the spotlight, played by Hilly Hindi. She’s an amazing dancer, and captivating as Harlene Quinzel (her singing voice is supplied by Erika Moul, the Lady Gaga Tribute). Caine Keenan is the Joker, and is voiced by Elliot Crossley. Also featured are dancers Swins Jean-Charles as Deadshot, George McLachlan as Captain Boomerang, Adolfo Barreto as El Diablo, Bryan Cheatham as Killer Croc, and Jillian Roybal as Katana.

The video gets off to a slow start, with nearly a minute of Harley Quinn riding on the back of a motorcycle, surrounded by other riders bearing the logos of the various members of the Suicide Squad, but there’s a reason for that – it is, shot for shot, move for move, an excruciatingly perfect replication of Lady Gaga’s Judas video.

The Hillywood Show® is the brainchild of Hilly and Hannah Hindi. They live in Las Vegas, Nevada, and their productions are fueled by a combination of advertising funds they get from YouTube their Patreon campaign which currently provides nearly $10K a month. This one video was only released two months ago, and it’s already had over 11 million views.

Let that sink in. That’s how popular Hillywood’s productions have become. If they ever wanted to do a feature length motion picture, everything’s lined up. They could totally do it.

The Hillywood productions are elaborate, and the complexity of each one rivals that of professional studio location shoots. The list of production expenses looks like a Hollywood producer’s budget sheet – and they always involve great SCIFI.radio worthy geeky music.

We love the attention to detail in their videos, and this one really shows how much power and control they have over what ends up on the screen. They have become masters of this art form.

Behind the Scenes

And here’s a special treat. It’s the blooper reel!

But more than showing you all the goofing off, and all the screwups, it also shows just how complicated these productions are, and how exacting Hilly and Hannah’s work is. Hands reaching in and posing The Joker’s head, opening his jaw to precise angles, show just how much control is required to get the images they’re after. They know precisely – down to the last hair – what they want to see, and how to get it.

Watch and be astounded. And don’t forget to laugh.

Lyrics

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Joker! Jokaah! Joker!
Jokaah! Joker! Jokaah! Joker! HAHA

Joker! Jokaah! Joker!
Jokaah! Joker! Jokaah! Joker! HAHA

When he calls to me I am ready
I’ll bring him a machine gun if he needs
Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain
Even after the times he betrays me

I’ll bring ‘em down, bring ‘em down, down
A king with no frown, king with no frown

[Chorus]
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Joker! Jokaah Joker! Jokaah
Joker! Jokaah Joker! HAHA

I couldn’t love a man so equally
Doctor Quinzel forgave his crooked way
Our love’s like a joke you cannot get
Burn a house or sink a dead body

I’ll bring ‘em down, bring ‘em down, down
A king with no frown, king with no frown

[Chorus]
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

[Bridge]
Ew
In the most criminal sense,
I am beyond repentance
Queen Arkham, Mistah J’s wench, has lost her mind
But in the comical sense
I just speak in his defense
Joker, kiss me if offenced,
Or wear Bat’s costume next time

I wanna love you,
But something’s pulling me away from you
Sanity’s my virtue,
And Joker is the demon I cling to
I cling to

[Chorus]
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby
I’m just a Harlequin, oh baby it’s a sin
But I’m still in love with Joker, baby

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Ohohohoh
I’m in love with Joker

Joker! Jokaah Joker! Jokaah
Joker! Jokaah Joker! HAHA
