Jon Anderson is easily one of the most renouned and influential artists of the past fifty years, and showed us some solid, solid geek cred with his amazing one-man story album Olias of Sunhillow in 1976 on Atlantic Records, among other astonishing works. He was born October 25, 1944, so that makes him 79 years old.

And at 79, he produces something amazing like Shine On.

It’s the second track from his new album True, his first since 2019’s 1000 Hands: Chapter One. Anderson has always had a soft spot for metaphysical concepts and fantasy presentation, and Shine On is as solid an example of this almost spiritual light of truth lyrical approach as anything he’s ever done.
