Legacies must rise to unearthly challenges as the children of Batman and Superman are charged with saving their famous fathers—and the world—in Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, Warner Bros. Animation’s first-ever all-CG animated, feature-length film.
DC Comics debuted the Super Sons as characters in Worlds Finest #154 in 1973, and made repeated appearances, receiving their own title in 2017. The step away from traditional 2d animation is a big one for Warner Bros. Animation, but there is no word so far on whether future productions will follow this model.
Jon Kent and Damian Wayne have become popular characters in the pages of DC Comics, and the publisher has done quite a bit to prioritize them. Jordan Elsass plays Jon Kent on the CW series Superman & Lois, and recently, DC announced that Jon Kent came out as bisexual. Meanwhile, Damian Wayne has been featured in a number of the DC Animated film projects like Son of Batman, Justice League vs. Teen Titans, and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.
Look for the always unpredictable Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne in Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons to land on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and Digital on October 18, 2022.
