British actor Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, has become a father in real life. He and his longtime girlfriend, actress Georgia Groome (Winifred in The Great Ghost Rescue), are the proud parents of a beautiful baby daughter. The child’s name has not been released yet by the doting parents. Ms. Groome and Mr. Grint have requested privacy at the moment.
Georgia Groome also starred in the science fiction short Life in Orbit.
In addition to co-starring in the Harry Potter movies, Rupert Grint starred in the TV show Snatch and co-stars as Julian Pearce in Servant. He co-starred in Moonwalkers with Ron Perlman (Vincent in Beauty and the Beast, Zeno in Ice Pirates, and Hellboy in Hellboy). Grint mentioned once he was willing to attempt the role of the Doctor, when Dr. Who was between regenerations of the Doctor.
Although in our hearts and minds, most of us still think of Rupert Grint as an eleven-year-old boy, he is in fact 31 and has been dating Georgia Groome since 2009.
