Docking Bay 94 Comes to Twitch TV!

I’ve been told that as the face of SCIFI.radio, you all should see my face more than you do, so I’ve started recording these little announce videos. They’re meant for Facebook, and so far they’re meant to entice new listeners and Patreon supporters – but now we have a new reason to do video.

We have a Twitch TV channel.

Our first session will be tonight at 10 pm Eastern / 7 pm Pacific, at https://twitch.tv/kryptonradio, and it will be a live broadcast and simulcast of Docking Bay 94, starring Shawn “Obi-Shawn” Crosby, Jeff “Solo” Donoho and Colleen “Kaylee” Crosby. It’s a two hour talk show, and already draws a bigger audience than any other single thing we do on SCIFI.radio – but now you’ll be able to see them too. Our test broadcast last week nearly doubled the total audience share, and despite a couple of minor glitches, it was an enormous success!

If you can, tune in! It’ll be a hoot!

To participate in the live chat, though, you may have to go to http://twitch.tv/Docking_Bay_94 and watch it there. It will appear on our channel too, but while we’re tinking and experimenting, we’re currently set up on two channels. In future weeks, the SCIFI.radio Twitch channel will be the one to go to to chat.

Now I need to come up with some cool tag line. Oh yeah –
