It’s a special episode of The Event Horizon this Saturday at 7 pm Eastern / 4 pm Pacific as hosts Susan Fox and Gene Turnbow welcome show creator and host Kailey Bray and director Ryan Parma of Damsels, Dice and Everything Nice.

It all began when Kailey Bray noticed that most of her friends not only played Dungeons & Dragons, but were also professional princess cosplayers. It seemed like the most natural mashup in the world, and it had to be made real!

They’ve already made the pilot, and they’ve already received a lot of positive press from places like Geek Girl Authority, Geek & Sundry, and Geek Tyrant. You can watch the pilot here.

Use the player control at the upper right to pause the SCIFI.radio stream while you watch.

They have an IndieGogo campaign for Episode 2 that just made its goal amount, with 46 days to go at this writin (SCIFI.radio’s executive producer is a significant personal backer).

The more donations they get, the better perks they can offer, the better their production can be, and the more able they will be to create the rest of the episodes. There are seven in all planned!

Join us this Saturday to hear all about how the project got its start, how it was made, and what the plans are for future episodes.
