At New York Comic Con, Prime Video premiered a new trailer next month’s premiere of Blade Runner 2099. It offers a deeper look at one of the show’s central mysteries and the relationship between Hunter Schafer’s Cora and Michelle Yeoh’s Olwen.
Blade Runner 2099 is Chinatown set in the world of Blade Runner. The trailer focuses on the show’s central mystery: what happened to 38 replicants who went missing over the past year? Cora, a fugitive, and Olwen, a Replicant near death, cross paths. This leads to them uncovering a whole conspiracy connected to a criminal gang of replicants who think that striving to be human is a limitation, not a goal.
All eight episodes of Blade Runner 2099 will be released on Prime Video on the same day: Nov. 25.
