Warner Bros. Animation brings us the first official trailer for part one of the magnificant DC Comics Knightfall trilogy. This is the story in which the new villain Bane was introduced, and is marked by the now famous event in the Batman comics in which Bane broke Batman’s back over his knee.
The Batman: Knightfall saga was a massive crossover storyline written by a team including Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, and Alan Grant, with editorial oversight by Dennis O’Neil. Because the saga spanned over 20 different issues across various Batman titles, a large ensemble of artists drew the story, primarily featuring Jim Aparo, Norm Breyfogle, Graham Nolan, and Jim Balent.
The saga was so expansive that it required multiple creators to handle the writing and interior penciling. The primary contributors included:
