Avengers: Doomsday brings together the disparate pieces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for one gigantic epic – whatever this is. It’s not a finale, though it feels like one. They’re bringing together heroes from three different previously unconnected cinematic continuities and putting them on a collision course. Together, they’ll face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. It’s part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and sets the stage its future.
Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a script by Stephen McFeely. It stars Robert Downey Jr, Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Lui, Florence Pugh, Lewis Pullman, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, and Rebecca Romijn, and theaters on December 18, 2026.
Lucky moviegoers will be able to see it on bigger, brighter, more immersive screens via Infinity Vision certified theaters.
