StarRekt, the continuously delightful purveyor of Star Trek comedy filk, has come up with another banger.
In this one, “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s gets a royal send-up as “Hey There, Ilia”, with Ian Ramsey (StarRekt) playing all the parts.
Including Ilia, which is as ghastly an apparition as you’d ever care to see.
That said, the music is wonderful, the sets and costuming are spot on, and the visual effects that Ramsey includes cut well with the clips of original footage from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Between you and me, that’s saying something. Ramsey is a true multi-talented renaissance man.
This tune, as well as others by StarRekt, can be heard on SCIFI.radio.
