Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, in collaboration with DC Studios, today announced Superman Experience: Defenders Unite, a brand-new walkthrough experience and live gameplay attraction, will launch on Superman Day – April 18, 2026 – at Stage 5 on the iconic Warner Bros. Studios lot. Presented by Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, Superman Experience offers guests the ability to unlock and hone their super powers, work as a team, and enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio. Fans can visit SupermanExperience.com now to secure tickets.

The walkthrough attraction combines live gameplay, physical sets, audio-animatronics, and 3D media to place visitors inside a scripted mission alongside Superman. Guests move through a series of environments, using motion capture systems and interactive elements designed to simulate flight and teamwork as part of a group-based storyline.

According to Warner Bros. Studios, the experience draws from the setting and tone of DC Studios’ 2025 Superman film. Visitors begin inside the Fortress of Solitude, where they are recruited and assigned abilities for a mission that includes training scenarios and a final confrontation with the character Darkseid. Locations within the attraction include the Kent farm and other environments tied to the Superman story world.

The attraction also incorporates a scoring system, tracking individual and team performance in real time. Interactive elements in the central hub include small-scale games, puzzles, and character encounters, including an animatronic Kryptonian robot and a Krypto-themed activity area.

Additional on-site features include themed food and beverage options and a retail space styled after the Daily Planet, offering exclusive merchandise and a comic created specifically for the attraction.

The experience is housed in Stage 5, a historic soundstage dating back to 1936, now updated to support location-based entertainment installations. Guests access the attraction via shuttle from the studio tour’s welcome center.

Tickets are available through the attraction’s official website, with bundled options offered alongside standard studio tour admission.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences creates location based entertainment for its parent company Warner Bros. Studios. Its subject material spans properties from film, television, games, and animation. They built the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios theme parks around the workd, as well as themed experiences based on Game of Thrones, DC Comics, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo and more.

The studio tour itself is at Warner Bros. studio in Burbank, California (They call it the Hollywood studio, but we suspect that’s mostly for the world recognition the city has for its roots in the motion picture industry – few know Burbank, relatively speaking.) The tour is open daily from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with tours departing every 30 minutes. Advance bookings are recommended, and children five years old and older are welcome. You can book your tickets at https://wbstudiotour.com.
