The Chalkeaters, one of the world’s finest creators of geeky music, brings us a new animated music video for their new Honkai Star Rail themed offering: The Trash Can Song. It’s weird, and and kind of meta. One of the game’s most popular characters is Stelle, one American players call “Racoon Girl”, and of course, fandom being fandom, can’t help but make up all sorts of non-canon stuff about her. This song is about that.
We made a smelly song for Honkai: Star Rail HoYoFair, the HoYoVerse fan creations festival! We brought along the fantastic roster of guest stars: @ElsieLovelock (Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones) as the cutest trash-loving raccoon protagonist, Stelle, and the Stellaron Hunter (also mommy) Kafka; Kathy-chan, an amazing YouTube cover vocalist, as Firefly, the girl with the tragic fate and surprising alter-ego; And Michael Kovach (also from Hazbin Hotel, The Amazing Digital Circus, and practically every indie production out there) as the fan-favorite gambling Cornerstone Aventurine, and SAM, the Firefly Type-V Mecha!
