With the voices of Jeff Whitmire and Aaron Becker, Inconceivable takes the running gag in the beloved film The Princess Bride and turns it into an earworm. It was already pretty funny when Wallace Shawn kept repeating the line as Vizzini,
Vizzini was the Sicilian criminal, bully, and mastermind employed by Prince Humperdinck to kidnap Buttercup and kill her, leaving evidence to frame Guilder of the murder so that Humperdinck could declare war. He serves as the film’s tertiary antagonist.
The film The Princess Bride is based on the book by William Goldman, who in turn wrote the screenply. Goldman’s delightful sense of humor, and the fact that the original author converted the work may be at least partly responsible for how beloved this film has become.
That certainly plays a role in how well Jeff Whitmire’s music video came out. This is filk at its finest. Thank you, Jeff, for your brilliant filk lyrics and inspired performance.
