Eiichiro Oda is a Japanese manga artist and the creator of the series One Piece. With more than 516.6 million tank?bon copies in circulation worldwide, One Piece is both the best-selling manga in history and the best-selling comic series printed in volume, in turn making Oda one of the best-selling fiction authors. The series’ popularity resulted in Oda being named one of the manga artists that changed the history of manga.

He has a special message for fans of the live action One Piece on Netflix. You’re going to want to see this.

“It seems people around the world have been enjoying the show,” Oda said through a Transponder Snail, “which makes the hard work from the production team truly worth it.”

The highly anticipated Season 2 of “One Piece” is currently in development, with creator Eiichiro Oda at the helm. Although details such as the release date and other specifics have yet to be announced, Oda has kindly asked fans for their patience, assuring them that the scripts are being prepared. However, a contributing factor to the delay in writing is the ongoing strike by the Writers Guild of America, which began on May 2. This labor dispute covers various issues, including viewership data and streaming residuals.

“One Piece” originated as a wildly popular manga series by Oda in 1997. It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a spirited individual who embarks on a quest to find the fabled treasure that would grant him the title of King of the Pirates. Throughout his journey, Luffy forms a tight-knit crew comprising Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, and Nami, each with their own aspirations and dreams. The accompanying anime series, which premiered in 1999, has amassed an impressive 1,070 episodes to date.

The first season of the live-action adaptation of “One Piece” concluded with an intriguing post-credits scene, introducing fans to a mysterious character known as Smoker, a Marine officer. As Season 2 approaches, viewers can look forward to the Straw Hat Pirates landing in Loguetown and Drum Island as they continue their exhilarating escapades.
