Actress Ming-Na Wen was born November 20, 1963 in Coloane Island, Macau, which means today is her 56th birthday!

Ming-Na Wen is a fixture in the MCU, having played Agent Melinda May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, voiced Hala the Accuser in Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron and Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, and voiced Phyla-Vell in the Guardians of the Galaxy TV animated series.

Her best known Disney role is voicing Mulan in the animated films Mulan and Mulan II, reprising the role in Sofia the First, House of Mouse, and Ralph Breaks the Internet, and assorted videogames. She also voiced Dr. Hirano, Stacy’s mother, in Phineas and Ferb.

Her genre roles include Senator Michaela Wen on Eureka, Camille Way on Stargate: Universe, Agent Cartwright on Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit, and Detective Ellen Yin in The Batman. Non-genre shows and movies include Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, ER, Vanished, As the World Turns, Breakdance Academy, and April Rain.
