BURBANK, CA.  Madeleine Holly-Rosing, writer/creator of the comic Boston Metaphysical Society announced the launch of her campaign to fund the printing of Boston Metaphysical Society: The Spirit of Rebellion (A Caitlin O’Sullivan Story). It is the second standalone story that continues the original six issue mini-series. The story will be 34 pages in a 44 page perfect bound book. “The story was inspired by a conversation I had with a fan. It made me realize that the battle with The Shifter would have a lasting effect on Caitlin. No one survives a battle like that unscathed.”

With art and colors by Gwynn Tavares and lettering by Troy Peteri, the story focuses on how a now homeless Caitlin is taken in by friends of Samuel’s in Philadelphia. While there, she and Samuel find themselves in the middle of a protest movement against the Great Houses by the local workers. To make matters more complicated, Caitlin discovers that the ghost who lives in the boarding house may have an influence far beyond the grave.
