Video of the Day: ‘Closer’

So, this nice young couple are out camping, when some aliens show up. Then some other aliens show up and a story ensues! This gorgeous short film is made in Italy by the Lords of Illusion group.

The music and effects are beautiful, and the writing injects a good deal of humor into a script that might have come off as cheesy if it tried to take itself too seriously, but as it stands, this HD short is a really cool piece of work!

We would suggest, however, that the “other” aliens take another look at the design of their mech suits, since an opponent was able to rip the helm off one-handed!
