Earth slows to a stop and starts spinning in reverse which confuses house pets who are friendly but incomprehensible and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of Elvis impersonators but a priest tells them about the God and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
