Earth becomes the battleground for an epic showdown between cosmic forces of good and evil who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who derive their sustainance by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
