Earth travels through a wormhole to the edge of the universe and beyond only to find actual worms who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they are radioactive who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work but they die from catching the common cold.
