What’s the difference between an Official Trailer and a Main Trailer? Heck if we know.
From Warner Bros. Animation comes the newest take on Dr. Suess’s The Cat in the Hat. Instead of a stolid retelling of the original book, the new film, from writers and directors Allesandro Carloni and Erica Rivinoja, brings the character into the modern world. He comes to the new apartment of two kids who have had to move away from everything they knew and loved. He doesn’t come empty handed, though. He has a time machine, and he can take them back to when their world was still full of hope, and each day was something to look forward to.
Obviously this can’t work for them in the long run, and they must find a way to heal their own lives and return to the now.
Starring Bill Hader in the title role, The Cat in the Hat also features the voices of Xochitl Gomez as Gabby, and Tiago Martinez as Sebastian, the two children. America Ferrera plays their overstressed mother. Matt Berry plays the Fish.
The Cat in the Hat makes its way to theaters on November 6, 2026.
