Gotham City needs Batman.

Batman: Knightfall, a three-part movie event, brings to life one of the most iconic and beloved sagas in the rich history of Batman comics!

When the mysterious behemoth known only as Bane free’s Batman’s entire rogue’s gallery from Arkham Asylum, the Caped Crusader is pushed to his mental and physical breaking point.

Batman: Knightfall is based on a legendary 1993-1994 DC Comics crossover event. This is the one where Bane famously confronts a fatigued Batman in Wayne Manor and breaks his back. The overarching epic is divided into three main acts: Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd, detailing Batman’s recovery and his eventual return to reclaim his title.

The sweeping three-part animated motion picture trilogy is directed by Jeff Wamester, from scripts by Jeremy Adams. It stars—ready for this?—BRUCE BOXLEIGHTNER as Commissioner Gordon, and Anson Mount as Batman / Bruce Wayne. Part 1 is already out on Amazon’s Prime Video service, with a 79 minute runtime.
