In the new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Peter comes up against his greatest enemy: himself. Watch.
Thanks to a spell cast by Doctor Strange in the previous film, Peter Parker’s secret identity is secret once again. He lives alone as a full-time Spider-Man until mounting pressure triggers a dangerous change and a powerful new enemy emerges.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey / Phoenix (unconfirmed at this writing), Jacob Batalon as Ned, Mark Ruffalo as Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk, and John Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. It’s directed by Destin Daniel Crettin, from a script by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers and Justin Kuritzkes.
It releases on July 31, 2026, so this is possibly the last trailer we’ll see before it releases. There’s still time to do one more a couple of weeks before release, and Marvel Studios may do that. They deeply need for this to be the breakaway action film of the summer, so they’re probably not taking any chances.
