Based on a mythological story written by The Games of Throne author George R. R. Martin and developed by FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki, Elden Ring is a dark fantasy role-playing game that allows users to explore a fantasy world that includes dragons, beasts, castles and dungeons. The plot of the game revolves around the Elden Ring, a powerful artifact that has been shattered, plunging the Lands Between into war and chaos. The player is tasked with restoring it.
Elden Ring will be A24’s most ambitious and expensive feature project yet. Garland previously wrote and directed Civil War for A24, which was their most expensive production before being supplanted by Marty Supreme.
No details on who plays what role have been yet released.
