The Event Horizon

On The Event Horizon: The Composers for ‘Babylon 5: The Road Home’

This evening we’ve got a special treat for you: the composers of the soundtrack for the Warner Bros. Animation movie Babylon 5: The Road Home, composers Lolita Ritmanis, Kristopher Carter, and Michael McCuistion, of the Emmy-winning Dynamic Music Partners (DMP). The trio has been working together for the better part of eighteen years, creating music for a substantial portion of all the comics and sci-fi themed animated shows and movies since then.

Their work on Babylon 5: The Road Home has recently been nominated for an Annie Award. Through this one hour episode, the composers of Dynamic Music Partners share some fascinating conversation with your hosts Susan Fox and Gene Turnbow about their latest work.

The soundtrack is now available for on Amazon

Babylon 5: The Road Home is directed by Matt Peters, written by J. Michael Straczynski and features the voice talent of Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Tracy Scoggins, Peter Jurasik, Bill Mumy, Jeffery Sinclair, Patricia Tallman, Paul Guyet, Phil LaMarr and Anthony Hansen. The Warner Bros. Animation production based on the 90s cult sci-fi TV series follows John Sheridan who finds himself transported through alternate realities and multiple timelines in a quest to find his way back home.

The movie itself was released this past August on Digital4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.
