Trailer Park: Adam Driver in ’65’

Once upon a time, a spaceship crashed on what appears to be an unknown planet. Nope, it’s actually Earth, 65 million years ago. The pilot, Mills, and his passenger, Koa, must escape hungry dinosaurs and dangerous terrain. Can they survive?

It’s got a good cast and crew. It stars Adam Driver (Kylo Ren from Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi) and Ariana Greenblatt (Minnow in Love and Monsters) Will Mills prove a more sympathetic character than Kylo Ren, or will the audience be rooting for the dinosaurs to have a good lunch? The most famous name connected to this film is producer Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man (2002) and Dr.Strange in the Multiverse of Madness(2022), producer of The Evil Dead (1981), writer of Darkman (1990) and Army of Darkness (1992), as well as brother of actor Ted Raimi (Joxer in Xena, Warrior Princess) and (Lt. Tim O’Neill in seaQuest DSV). The scriptwriters won’t be strangers to most SciFi.Radio fans. Writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, best known for A Quiet Place (2018) and The Bride Wore Blood (2006) are making their directorial debut, as well as collaborating on the script.

With a team like this behind the cameras, expect plenty of thrills and chills, and no shortage of excitement. Watch the trailer for yourself. See what you think.

The prehistori scenery is gorgeous and the dinosaurs are far more realistic and frightening than anything Irwin Allen ever did. These aren’t nice, safe domesticated dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park.

65 hits the theaters on March 10, 2023.
