Buzz Aldrin Remarries on His 93rd Birthday!

Retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin has married for the fourth time. Dr. Aldrin celebrated his 93rd birthday by marrying Dr. Anca Faur.

The Apollo 11 astronaut proudly announced “I am pleased to announce that my longtime love and partner, Dr. Anca V Faur, and I have tied the knot. We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, and are as excited as eloping teenagers,”

Dr. Aldrin earned a Sc.D. in astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1963, making him the first astronaut to possess a doctorate.

Dr. Faur is a chemical engineer and the Executive Vice President of Buzz Aldrin Ventures LLC.

Dr.Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin was the second man to walk on the moon July 20, 1969. Friday, January 20, 2023, he married his longtime sweetheart, Dr. Anca Faur. We at SciFi.Radio wish the smitten couple every happiness and offer our congratulations to them.

Also on his birthday, Dt. Aldrin was honored by Living Legends of Aviation. It is more surprising that it took until 2023 for Aldrin to be inducted into Living Legends of Aviation than it is that he remarried.

The Legends meet yearly to recognize and honor individuals that have made significant contributions in aviation.”

Dr.Aldrin was married to Joan Ann Archer from 1954 to 1974. His second wife was Beverly Van Zile from 1975 to 1978. His third wife was Lois Driggs Cannon from 1988 to 2012. His first three marriages ended in divorce.
