Singer-songwriter Katy Perry (amusingly, the voice of Smurfette in The Smurfs and The Smurfs 2) gave birth to a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, August 26, 2020. Daisy’s father is actor Orlando Bloom (Will Turner in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean series, Legolas in the Lord of the Rings movies). Perry and Bloom have been engaged since Valentine’s Day of 2019, but are not yet married.

The BBC reported that the happy “couple said they had set up a donation page to mark Daisy’s birth, with the money going towards new mothers and their children.” Both Ms. Perry and Mr. Bloom are Goodwill Ambassadors for UNICEF.

Daisy Dove is Perry’s firstborn child and Bloom’s first daughter. He has a nine-year-old son, Flynn Christopher Bloom, with his ex-wife, Australian model Miranda Kerr.
