A Quiet Place took audiences by storm in 2018, with its unique use of sensory deprivation creating a truly horrifying experience. In a dystopian world were creatures with hypersensitive hearing and armored skin have taken over, the only way to survive is in complete silence. Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place left critics and audiences clamoring for more of this unique take on the horror genre.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, they delivered.
The trailer for A Quiet Place: Part 2 dropped today, bringing an excellent start to our new year. Bringing back the amazing talent of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe, A Quiet Place: Part 2 appears to be set immediately after the events of the first film. Leaving their farm and venturing out into the world again, they encounter what may be a more formidable foe than the creatures- the people out there with far more nefarious intentions.
The trailer also shows that we will be getting some backstory on how and when these creatures invaded. Along with the returning cast, A Quiet Place: Part 2 will also be starring Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.
A Quiet Place: Part 2 premieres March 20th, 2020.
