Trailer Park: James Bond ‘No Time To Die’ Official Trailer

MGM and Universal have released the trailer for Eon Productions 25th installment of the James Bond film series, No Time to Die. In typical Bond fashion, fans were treated to explosions, gun fire, fast cars and beautiful women. Oh, and the man himself, of course …

… Bond. James Bond.

Pause the SCIFI.radio stream using the controller at the upper right while you watch.

The trailer shows us that Bond has finally slowed down a bit, and is living a peaceful life on a sunny island, just minding his own business – which lasts for about 2.5 seconds before Britain’s greatest spy is back in the thick of things. CIA agent and friend of Bond, Felix Leiter, enlists his help in finding a missing scientist. Bond confronts a danger the likes of which he, nor the world, have ever seen when it becomes apparent that the scientist has been abducted.

Back for his fifth (and supposedly last) turn as the MI6 spy is Daniel Craig. Having been in the role of James Bond since 2006, Craig is well used to, and comfortable with his character. Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Lea Seydoux and Christopher Waltz will also be returning to their roles from previous films. New to the Bond films are Rami Malek (Bohemian Rapsody), Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), and Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel).

Eon Productions has been at the helm of the James Bond film universe since the first Bond film, Dr. No, starring Sean Connery in 1962. There have been two Non-Eon films over the years, but it’s safe to say that Eon takes the cake in the James Bond, err … bake-off? No Time to Die will be the first Bond film to be internationally distributed by Universal Pictures with Columbia Pictures’ contract having expired with Spectre.

Development for No Time to Die hit a snag when director Danny Boyle and writer John Hodge both left the film due to creative differences in August 2018. In September 2018 Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of no Nation, It) stepped in as director. Filming wrapped up in October 2019.

So take a look at the trailer and get ready for the next instalment of James Bond. Put on your best tux and get your martinis’ ready (shaken, not stirred, of course). No Time to Die is scheduled for theatrical release on April 2, 2020 in the UK and for April 8, 2020 in the United States.
