John Barrowman To Become The Doctor in New Big Finish Audio Production

Fan favorite John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood and Doctor Who, Malcolm Merlyn in Berlanti’s Arrowverse, Peter Faichild in C.P.W.) is about to be promoted from captain to Doctor – specifically, the Sixth Doctor, originally played by Colin Baker.

Radiotimes announced that Big Finish audio adventures will have an episode where John Barrowman, occasional Doctor’s Companion Captain Jack Harkness, must not only aid the Doctor but take his place. The episode, written by James Goss is entitled “Piece of Mind” and will deal with Captain Jack heading to the trenches of World War I. It will form the first of three parts of The Lives of Captain Jack, Volume Two, written and produced by Goss.
