Engaged: Adrienne Palicki, Scott Grimes of ‘The Orville’

Working in close proximity with somebody for sixteen hours a day really gives you an insight as to who that person is. Sometimes that insight is so deep and so complete that you fall in love, and so it has come about that Adrienne Palicki and Scott Grimes, cast members of The Orville on Fox Television, have fallen in love. More than that, they have now publicly announced their engagement to be married – or that they are already married. To be honest, it’s a little confusing.

Palicki posted a picture of herself and Grimes in full cuddle mode, a ring clearly visible on her finger. Is it a wedding ring, or an engagement ring? We can’t tell. “So happy to spend my life with you,” she writes, adding the hashtags “#ido” and “#iloveyou.”

Palicki stars as the Orville’s First Officer Kelly Grayson alongside series creator and co-star Seth MacFarlane, who plays Kelly’s ex-husband, Captain Ed Mercer. Grimes portrays Lieutenant Gordon Malloy, a role created specifically for him by his longtime friend MacFarlane.

Grimes has been married twice before, first to Dawn Bailey (with whom he had two children), and then Megan Moore, both marriages ending in divorce. Palicki had at one point been engaged to Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War stuntman Jackson Spidell, but the relationship ended before they could tie the knot.
