The CW Finds Its Lois Lane (and here’s the first picture)

This season’s annual Arrowverse crossover will feature the character Lois Lane for the first time. Grimm actress Elizabeth ‘Bitsie’ Tulloch has been cast in the role. Here’s the first image of her in character, courtesy of DC.Com.

Elizabeth ‘Bitsie’ Tulloch looks genetically engineered for the role.

The crossover, which encompasses Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl will also introduce Ruby Rose as Batwoman.

Lois Lane was announced to appear in the crossover during Comic-Con International: San Diego in July, but this is the first time we’ve seen her as her character. Actor Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman from CW’s Supergirl. Lois’ father Sam Lane and sister Lucy Lane have also appeared on Supergirl.

Tulloch has been playing the lead character on Grimm for six seasons now, and has substantial feature film experience as well.

Look for this year’s Arrowverse crossover to kick off on Sunday, December 9th at 8 p.m. on The CW.
