If you haven’t heard of the Library Bards by now, you’re in for a real treat. The Bards are Bonnie Gordon (The Quest) and Xander Jeanneret (King of the Nerds) , and they’ve been making great music and performance art for about three years now. As they collect and master more and more of their creative energy, they release more fantastic geeky musical moments like Now You Have the Bridge, Spock.
Xander and Bonnie perform on a pitch-perfect recreation of the original Star Trek TOS bridge set, with Xander playing the roles of both Spock and Kirk. More than just singers, they’re all-around performers with solid skills as singers, dancers and actors. We’ve been watching them rise as creators in the geeking world, and with each new thing they do, they get better and better.
This song comes from their new album Bardcore, available on Bandcamp. If you want to help them make more musical creations, go to their Patreon page and give them some genuine audience appreciation. You’ll be making the world of geekdom a better place.
And naturally, you can hear all the music on the Bardcore album here on SCIFI.radio during our broadcast day. Enjoy.
