Lara Croft has her day in this new brilliantly executed fan film, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Produced by Rich Cassidy for Aggressive Comix, this little gem stars – we think – Elyse from Space Cats Cosplay as Laura Croft. This tribute to one of the most popular game franchises in history serves it well. Have a look. Be sure to pause the SCIFI.radio music stream while you watch it, though. Dueling soundtracks are the opposite of fun.
The production team took advantage of exotic local settings, and produced a film very much in keeping with the visceral experience presented in the game by the same name. It’s a polished and fun piece. The Aggressive Comix team clearly has their head in the game.
