Earth is invaded by a swarm of sentient nanobots car sized amorphous plasmoid aliens with cheesy gorilla suit bodies and retro fishbowl space helmetswho want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they are radioactive who derive their sustainance by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish but they fall in love with a young girl and they all get day jobs.
