Earth develops a temporal echo across multiple timelines creating duplicates of everyone on Earth who want to plug us into a power grid and use us as living batteries even though they smell really bad and might be overpowered by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
