Earth contracts a case of cosmic amnesia, forgetting everything that happened yesterday except for weasels who do not understand us even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who derive their sustainance by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
