Earth discovers a portal to a dimension filled with sentient vegetables who perceive us only as a food even though they are only slightly radioactive and cannot be destroyed by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
