Earth awakens ancient cosmic guardians to defend against an otherworldly threat from extraterrestrial cats who perceive us only as a food even though they smell really bad and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but they fall in love with a young girl and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
