Earth finds itself at the center of a cosmic conspiracy involving multiple galaxies who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a nuclear bomb but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
