The newest addition to the LEGO Ideas collection is one we didn’t think we’d ever see: a tribute to the X-Files.
To mark the reveal, Emmy Award-winning actor, Gillian Anderson, stars in a cinematic mini-film tribute to the beloved series.
With a nod to FBI Special Agent Dana Scully, Anderson is drawn into an investigation that gradually leads her to uncover the LEGO set itself, piece by piece – bringing the world of The X-Files into brick-built form for the fans.
The LEGO Ideas?The X-Files?set recreates iconic moments from the series, centred on a detailed build of?Fox Mulder’s office, paired with a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO.
The X-Files was an American science fiction drama television series created by Chris Carter. The original series aired from September 10, 1993, to May 19, 2002, on Fox, spanning nine seasons, with 202 episodes.
The 1,478-piece set includes 8 minifigures, featuring Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien.
