Earth becomes the focal point of a cosmic prophecy foretelling the end of days for anybody who speaks Latin who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes , but scientists create a new weapon which turns them into weird rocks.
