Earth is invaded by a swarm of sentient nanobots steam powered trilaterally symmetrical robots who perceive us only as a food even though they are radioactive who derive their sustainance by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which turns them into weird rocks.
