Earth ascends to a higher plane of existence, leaving behind a changed world but only for left handed people who perceive us only as a food even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work so they eat us all.
