Earth is pushed out of its orbit by aliens who understand us all too well even though they all do bad impressions of William Shatner who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they form a rock band and tour the galaxy, becoming interstellar celebrities.
