Earth opens a gateway to the afterlife, allowing spirits to roam the earth who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they smell really bad and cannot be destroyed by a crowd of people with pitchforks and torches but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
