Martin Freeman and Alexa Goodall star in Momo and the Time Thieves, based on the 1973 book by Michael Ende. It follows the adventures of an orphan girl named Momo who battles “The Men in Gray” — sinister villains who steal people’s time. Momo and her friend, a tortoise who communicates by displaying messages on its shell, try to save the world.

t’s a race against time in this magical adventure. Momo (Alexa Goodall) is a young orphan girl living in the ruins of an old Roman amphitheater. She spends her days with her best friend Gino (Araloyin Oshunremi) and always has time for her neighbors, but the interference of a powerful international corporation means that suddenly nobody has time for her anymore. Not even Gino! When Momo is at her most desperate, a mysterious turtle leads her to Master Hora (Martin Freeman), the Guardian of Time, and they race against the clock to fight the time thieves and take back what was stolen.
Starring newcomer Alexa Goodall, Martin Freeman (The Hobbit Trilogy), Kim Bodnia (Pusher, Killing Eve) Claes Bang (The Square), Laura Haddock (Transformers: The Last Knight) Araloyin Oshunremi (Top Boy), Jennifer Amaka Pettersson (Over Your Dead Body) and David Schütter (Never Look Away). Based on the bestselling novel, the film is directed by Christian Ditter (Love, Rosie).
