Amazon Prime has released the first teaser for Fallout Season 2, and it confirms the next stop for Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins): New Vegas.

The trailer shows the Strip, complete with Mr. House and the factions that defined Fallout: New Vegas. It also introduces a Deathclaw, making its first live-action appearance. The brief shot of the creature immediately sparked reactions from fans who have waited decades to see it outside the games.

Season 1 set the stage for Fallout’s world. Season 2 shifts to the politics of the Mojave, with Mr. House, the NCR, and Caesar’s Legion all in play. The teaser itself is a high mark in the art of making trailers. It holds back just enough to build interest without giving away key story turns.

Lucy’s search for meaning, The Ghoul’s long history, and the power struggles in Vegas set up conflicts that look larger than anything in Season 1. Add the Deathclaw, and the season promises Fallout’s biggest confrontations yet.

Fallout is directed by Jonathan Nolan, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner as showrunners and writers. The cast includes Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul (Cooper Howard), Aaron Moten as Maximus, and Kyle MacLachlan as Overseer Hank.

New this season are Justin Theroux as Mr. House and Macaulay Culkin in a yet-to-be-revealed role. Season 2 begins streaming on Prime Video on December 17, 2025, with episodes released weekly.
