From the award-winning team at Sony Pictures Animation comes GOAT, a new feature film about big dreams and small beginnings.

From Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, comes GOAT, an original action-comedy set in an all-animal world. The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!”

Directed by Tyree Dillihay and Adam Rosette, from a script by Aaron Buschsbaum and Teddy Riley, GOAT stars David Harbour, Patton Oswalt, Aaron Pierre, Stephen Curry (the basketball star) and Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things as Will Harris (the titular GOAT).

Curry, 37, voices a giraffe named Lenny Williamson. “I relate to the entire story of GOAT because a lot of my journey resembles Will’s journey,” he said in an interview. “Being overlooked — underrated, if you will. Just looking for an opportunity but finding your self-confidence through it all and what makes you unique, and understanding that that’s good enough.”

It’s still in production, and is scheduled for theatrical release on February 13, 2026.
