The long awaited trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third motion picture in James Cameron’s Avatar series, is here.

With Avatar: Fire and Ash, James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family.
Avatar: Fire and Ice has different cultural factions of Na’avi reluctantly joining forces to face the human-driven threat to the world of Pandora.
The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver (playing a teenager at 75, in one of the biggest stretches of her career), Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Sam Worthington, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.
It uses technology developed for the first film, where live camera operators and actors work in a virtual environment, wherein the world surrounding them is visible only in the electronic camera viewfinder. The technique allows the director and cinematographer to select viewing angles contemporaneously, just as they would on a fully live set.
Third in the planned series of five films, Avatar: Fire and Ash makes its theatrical debut on December 19, 2025.
